Each morning, Head Chef Rose prepares a delicious selection of homemade baked treats for guests to enjoy throughout the day in the Drawing Room. Fresh cakes, pastries, and sweet bakes are served alongside a choice of teas, herbal infusions, and freshly brewed coffee, allowing guests to help themselves whenever they wish.
This small but thoughtful ritual reflects the warm and personal hospitality that defines a stay at Ariel House. Whether enjoyed with a quiet moment of reading or shared with fellow travellers, these daily treats add a gentle touch of indulgence to the guest experience.
The Honesty Bar
The Drawing Room is also home to the Honesty Bar, one of the most charming traditions of boutique guesthouse hospitality.
An honesty bar is a self-service bar where guests may pour their own drinks and simply note what they enjoy, with the cost added to their bill at the end of their stay. The concept reflects a spirit of trust and relaxed hospitality, allowing guests to feel entirely at home during their time at Ariel House.
Our Honesty Bar offers a carefully selected collection of drinks including:

- Local craft gin
- Red, white and rosé wines
- Champagne for special occasions
