ABOUT THE 3ARENA
The 3Arena is a world class amphitheatre, located at North Wall Quay in Dublin. It is the largest indoor arena in Ireland at present. It opened on December 16th 2008 as The 02 Arena having been built on the site of The Point Theatre, one of Dublin’s top music venues. The redevelopment saw the capacity increase from a maximum of 8,500 attendees to 14,500 attendees.
The state-of-the-art 3Arena plays host to some of the biggest music concerts and shows staged in Ireland every year. It offers on-site parking as well as being excellently serviced by public transport including a Luas Red Line stop right in front of the venue. The Luas stop is called “The Point”. It is also serviced by Dublin Bus route 747 while the Dart train service will bring you within a couple of minutes walk to the 3Arena. The 3Arena permits drop-offs close to the venue if you wish to take a taxi to the 3Arena.
